The folklore market of Heist (July and August) has been around for a while. From 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM, Heist is the backdrop for a demonstration of old crafts, performances by the youth dance group 'Klakkertjes', a puppet theater, a walk of the giants Pier and Wanne, and much more. On market days, it can sometimes be difficult to park above ground in Knokke, so make use of the underground parking under Verweeplein.
