Café Tonneke is located in the art village of Machelen-aan-de-Leie, at the 85 cycle junction. Within walking distance of the Raveel museum, the studio of painter Wallaert and the French Military cemetery. The writer Reeve also lived here and was buried here a little further away. Café Tonneke is a tourist information point where you can find various walking and cycling routes. We would like to welcome you and give you a word of explanation about the Lys region and I also have leaflets of the area. You can enjoy a beer here or if it is a bit heavier we have a wide menu of beers, As a barista I can introduce you and enjoy our special coffees.
Groups are welcome but preferably by reservation.
