The wooden stake mill comes from Westkapelle where it was built in 1771. It was demolished in 1920 and brought to Gits. In the 1980s, it was built near the GID(t)S Service Centre. In 2013 he received the registration number 'Active Mill' from Molenforum Vlaanderen vzw. The mill runs regularly during the weekend and can be visited by appointment.
