The haunted lime is an ancient, four-stemmed tree and according to tradition was planted as a Maypole in the time of Charles V (1500 - 1555). It has a strange shape, erect, in the middle of the plain. He was struck by lightning several times and nevertheless remained standing. His stump is hollowed out, burned out, marred by countless bruises. Little remains of the tree itself but a bark that learned to grow and from which awkward branches full of leaves shoot.
