The Hoge Mote, centrally located in the historic center, is undoubtedly a groundbreaking reception and experience center. The restoration of the site is remarkable; it is a heritage gem with surprising contemporary accents and the permanent home of Tourism Ronse. The perfect starting point for a city walk or a regional exploration.
Through interactive panels, audio stories, videos, and virtual reality, visitors can discover more about Saint Hermes, the development of Ronse and textiles, and Flanders' most beautiful landscape. Information is available in four languages.
The Hoge Mote already had three towers, and with a fourth tower, the view is complete.
The experience center can be visited for free and is undoubtedly a family-friendly hotspot in the Flemish Ardennes. The visitor who wants to explore all the modules will spend at least an hour there.
