Description

Welcome to the Romain De Vidts Park, named after one of the previous mayors who turned the former castle garden into a city park in the 1950s. If you look around carefully, you might come across him. In this park you can relax, picnic, walk, jog, ... Enjoy the greenery and discover the Reynaert bank from 1958, some war memorials, beautiful ponds and fountains. In the brand new play forest city park, part of #9100speelstad, lives a squirrel. You can play on his back or slip out of his nest. Here and there there is also a stray duck waddling around.
