The Sint-Gerardus Majellakerk is a church building located at Bloeistraat 37 in the Neerpede district of Anderlecht. Founded for Roman Catholic worship, the building has been made available to the Polish Orthodox community.
The parish was founded in 1914. The pastor, Fons Celens, founded next to the church a monastery of the Annunciation Sisters who came from Huldenberg. The chapel of the monastery was consecrated in 1917. Some schools and a rectory were also built. Furthermore, a Lourdes grotto and a Sacred Heart statue were erected. The Sacred Heart statue is provided with memorial stones for the fallen in the First and Second World Wars. The monastery continued to exist as such until 1967, when the last sisters left.
