The St. Martinus Church is dedicated to Martin of Tours. You can see quite a few images of St. Martin in this church.
According to legend, the church was built on the ruins of the Holy Sacrament Chapel, which was first mentioned in 1105 and was under the protection of the abbot of Affligem.
