Anderlecht is a railway station located in the Brussels municipality of Anderlecht along railway line 50A/C. The station is located near the metro station COOVI.In the context of the Regional Express Network, a train station "Anderlecht" would be located nearby. In 2013, SNCB confirmed that this RER station was included in the investment plan for the coming years. When the tracks of line 50A were doubled, the structural work was already done. The completion of the GEN station would start in 2017. However, the works did not start in 2017, but it was announced that the station would open in 2020.
