Borgwal Castle is a castle domain located in the center of the Belgian town of Vurste, now a part of the East Flemish town of Gavere.The castle, which itself is built from different parts, also consists of a courtyard with pigeon tower and a monumental entrance gate with porter's house. The domain is surrounded by a 1,700 meter long masonry wall. The oldest mention of this 18 ha domain dates back to 1538 and was owned by several families over the centuries.
