Around 1936, TROIS-PONTS MODERNE built the viewpoint of Louis HALLET (father of André Hallet). This vantage point was originally on the Wanne route on the site of today's Casa Mignon. It was later rebuilt on the bend in front of the railway line.
Louis LORENT , a carpenter based in Trois-Ponts, certainly appreciated Hallet's gazebo , but felt that more needed to be done.
He spoke of a three-story pavilion that would be placed on top of a mountain: Tour Leroux.
