Our capital was formed in a swamp area, and urban development has led to the impermeability of the soil (mainly due to road coverings). Some more sensitive neighborhoods regularly face flooding. One of the solutions involves the construction and management of rainwater basins.
To combat the excessive water, VIVAQUA manages about thirty rainwater basins that must always be capable of absorbing large volumes of water during heavy rainfall. To avoid flooding, the water flows into these basins as soon as it exceeds a certain level in the sewers. Once the situation normalizes, VIVAQUA inspects the rainwater basins to repair any potential damage as quickly as possible and makes the installation ready for the next storm.
