Deciduous Forest
Explore this 15-hectare mixed forest in Hoogstraten! Here you will find beech, birch, Scots pine, and summer oak. With a bit of luck, you may also spot deer in the forest. A deep system of ditches with wide walking paths runs through the domain. Hikers and cyclists are always welcome to discover the designated paths.
Role of Kempens Landscape
This private forest area was under pressure, as there were plans to turn it into a golf course. Our organization therefore purchased the forest in 2003 to save the Blue Woods. We can rely on the Forest Group Noorderkempen for management.
