Here the Neerpedebeek runs through a large piece of agricultural area. At the edge of a meadow in that area is a spring that supplies a small pool of water. There, near the Scherdemaalstraat and a farm, cows come to drink. The overflow of the pool is a small canal that runs under the agricultural road and then reappears to connect to the gutter along the road. A few meters further, the water drains into the sewer. The municipality has plans to make this spring water better visible in the area.
