This intensively used square in the oldest part of the Borgerhout district will become even more attractive in the future (as part of the Ringland project) because a passage will be created under the railway and thus a connection is made to the center of Deurne and the Rivierenhof . In the adjacent street Wijnegemstraat 27 you will find the non-profit association Rataplan: a small hall in a corner of the city. A hall with a beating heart for art, theater and music. An arts center where actors and musicians perform on stage almost every day. Rataplan has been the starting block and operating base for young performing artists for 15 years.
