Demeter: Greek Goddess of fertility and growth, of agriculture and fields. Often identified with Gaia, goddess of the earth.
To read: in its original meaning, to gather, to gather like ears, flowers, herbs to 'read'.
Nektar: brew of the gods
Ambrosia: food of the gods, delicious food that bestows immortality. Ambrose is also the patron saint of beekeepers and poets.
Bunder, rod and recess wall: old surface measurements; 1 bunder is 4 day wall (or a veiren part) and 400 rods; The day wall is so much land that 1 man could work in 1 day.
