Description

The area used to be owned by a monastic community from Thorn, although there has never been a monastery. Today it is a resting area for humans and animals (156 hectares). Especially wild is delighted here. Forest, heathland, moist grasslands, pools and ponds are the most important elements. Striking when visiting this green oasis is the wide variety of birds, but you will also find many mammals, amphibians and insects. An ideal place to catch your breath. And be sure to cross the Dutch border with the smuggling route.
