The St. Paul's Conversion Church of Godveerdegem (Zottegem) is a church building surrounded by a walled cemetery and has two lime trees in front of the west portal. Originally, it was a single-nave Romanesque church that was first mentioned in 1176. Later, the central tower with octagonal bell chamber was erected in the 14th century. At the end of the 14th century or the beginning of the 15th century, the church was extended to the east with a sandstone choir. In the 16th century, the church was demolished up to 2 meters from the ground and rebuilt in brick. The balustrade organ dates from the 19th century. The church was restored at the end of the 19th century and restored in the first quarter of the 20th century. It was restored again in 1967 under the direction of architect Adrien Bressers. The Church of St. Paul's Conversion has been protected as a monument since 1962.
