It used to be a lot slower when people and animals pulled the boats on the river from this path... We can quietly enjoy trees, lakes and huge bends in the capricious river that the Celts already called "Tanera" (the turbulent, the bubbling) and thus gave the stream its name. With a bit of luck we will see one or more grey herons. Fishermen are now also an inseparable part of the Denderboorden, which indicates the improved water quality. On the left side of a hill, hidden in the green in summer, is the Wildermolen of Appelterre, on the right we see the hill that offers Pollare a beautiful view of the Dender valley.
