Brussels South Station is a Belgian railway station located south of the center of Brussels. Brussels South is a hub for international and national trains and has 22 platform tracks (wikipedia, n.d.).
Being one of the most important stations in the country, it offers a smooth IC connection to most major cities in the country. In addition, the station is also served by several S-trains from the Great Expressnetwork. Brussels South is regularly visited by international trains such as Thalys or Eurostar.
From Brussels South, there is also the option to travel further by metro/tram. The lines that serve the station are: line 2: (Elisabeth/Simonis), line 3: (Brussels North/Brussels South), line 4: (Brussels North/Brussels South), and line 6: (Elisabeth/King Baudouin).
The station is within walking distance (approximately 1.5 km) from Kaai campus (Anderlecht).
