The round, stone corn windmill stands on a mill hill and was built in 1905 to replace a wooden post mill that was felled by a storm. The first mentions of a "coorenwintmuelen" date back to 1571. There was also a small horse mill, horse-driven.
The stone corn windmill remained in use until 1958. He had already been protected in 1945. In 1984 the area became a protected village. It was thoroughly restored from 1972 to 1975 but could no longer run due to the dismantling of the interior. Since then, the mill has also been used as a living space. Also in 2008 a thorough repair was carried out in which the sails (approx. 24 m) were put in festive position (St. Andrew's cross).
