The F20 starts in Lembeek on the border with Wallonia and runs via Halle, Buizingen, Lot, Ruisbroek and Forest to the centre of Brussels. During this route we follow the car-free "towpath" along the Charleroi-Brussels canal. The total distance is 22 km.
Especially for students and staff, extra attention was paid to the route between Halle and Ruisbroek. This is an interesting route as you can combine the use of the bicycle with a possible boat trip. During the route we use the cycling junctions (see description). This route is about 9 km.
Along the way you can take a break at the various bridges / stops.
Bicycle highways are an initiative of, among others, the Flemish provinces. The province of Flemish Brabant, in this case, will invest a lot in a better "highway" in the future.
