The Our-Lady-of-Zavel Church is a church building in the Belgian capital Brussels at the Zavel. Although the church never got a tower due to lack of funds, it is characteristic of the late Gothic style with its many flame-shaped elements and striking 14m high stained glass windows (wikipedia, n.d.).
Inside the church is the Our Lady on 't Stokske. A folk tale surrounds this miraculous image from the 14th century. It is commemorated annually with a procession in the first weekend of July.
