Antwerp artist and multi-talented Charlotte De Cock can safely be called a pioneer in Antwerp street art, because she was one of the first women to enter the predominantly male scene with her impressive portraits. In the meantime, the artist has spread her wings, and has already conquered half the world with her work. She is mainly active in the US and the UK, although she remains loyal to her hometown. A great source of inspiration is California. Charlotte De Cock lost her heart to the people who live completely self-sufficient in the desolate desert. The mural in the Samberstraat depicts one of the many 'free souls', the old men she met in the Wild West. The fresco was applied to a factory shed, which housed the temporary The Antwerp Graffiti and Street art museum (TAGS).
