These 1800 meters of cobblestones are located far in the Kempen, on the territory of Geel and Retie. An asphalt road with two lanes becomes a narrow cobblestone lane just before the municipal border. The cobblestone strip is also known as Ten Aard or Heide. The name 'Aert' refers to the wild common lands of the feudal system. Wout's surname also refers to this. In the cycling tourist tour the 'Hel van de Kempen', departing from Dessel, this cobblestone strip is included. The strip is protected heritage.
