Enjoy the winding Senne just a stone's throw from Brussels where the same Senne runs invisibly underground. From the bridge you can also see the towers of beersel castle in a southerly direction.
The large contiguous and barely known open space area of 400 ha between the residential areas of Drogenbos, Ruisbroek, Beersel and Lot is unique in the Flemish Periphery around Brussels. The Ring cuts through the Senne valley. The area is a strategic location in the Senne Valley because of the scale, the possible role in water storage and natural development of the Senne, the recreational and tourist potentials.
