Located on Charles Bergh Square, renovated in 2010, the Palais de Justice stands proudly. It is currently the seat of the Court of First Instance of Neufchâteau. This building was inaugurated in 1886 and bears witness to neoclassical architecture. It is eclectic in style and cubic in shape. Among other things, stone from France and schist rubble were used on a limestone base. A massive central portico with four columns, a double-flight access staircase and a triangular pediment are immediately noticeable to the observer. The façade of the prison opposite the Palais de Justice dates from the same period. The latter was preserved during the construction of a modern building.
