There is nothing to be found about this chapel, which is said to have been erected in honor of Emmanuel Dagneau.
The chapel is located on rue du Buc in the commune of Loyers.
Loyers is situated on the slope and crest of the north flank of the valley of the 'Fonds de Leffe'. This hamlet of the former commune of Lisogne was originally the least populated part (1840: 121).
The farms of the Buc: the farm at number 41, just outside the hamlet, is an extensive whole that belonged to the abbey of Leffe. This farm was built in 1648, as can be seen from the engraved stone with the arms of father Abbot Désiré Gouverneur (1636-1653) which is used in the large stoneware barn. The original living quarters have disappeared and the present one, made of regular limestone rubble, dates from the second third of the nineteenth century. The adjacent bakehouse on the right is eighteenth century. At number 35: This semi-enclosed farm of stoneware and limestone blocks is quite dilapidated today. The residential area in the west dates from the mid-seventeenth century. It is primitively low and was raised with a floor in the nineteenth century. The stables and barn are from the 19th century. On the eastern corner of the garden, a seventeenth-century bakehouse gradually disappears beneath the vegetation.
