This bank is located on the banks of the Roannay.
The Roannay is a tributary of the Amel. It rises on the plateau of the High Pans near Francorchamps. The valley quickly takes the form of a heavily forested and sparsely populated valley.
The Roannay passes through the villages of Ruy and Moulin du Ruy before completing its 11km run on the right bank of the Amel to Roanne-Coo between the Coo waterfall and the village of La Gleize.
