This grocery store in the center of the small village of Laforêt is actually a brasserie where you can drink Orval but also organic fruit juices or homemade chocolate and buy local products or good food.

Jean and Nadia Smekens run this cozy place, which is particularly lively in season on the terrace, while inside you can settle down in the old barn for a special moment with friends.

Since his early childhood, Jean Smekens used to come to Laforêt with his parents for holidays. He loved coming to this village, now considered one of the most beautiful villages in Wallonia.

2015: The Serpolet grocery store in Laforêt has been organizing a music festival for years in mid-July. This festival is a showcase for new discoveries.
