A little hidden among the other trees is an old orchard. Only when the blossom blooms in spring, we notice this beautiful corner. It is one of those forgotten orchards that testify to the fruit cultivation that is still very present in the Hageland today. Before the big breakthrough after the Second World War, most small farms had some fruit trees with apples, pears and plums. In some places the famous Hageland peaches were grown. But this crop did not survive the influence of European unification in the 1970s.
