The Alle-sur-Semois memorial commemorates the combatants, resistance fighters and fallen soldiers of the First and Second World Wars.
The Maquis route passes through Vresse-sur-Semois. This 170 km ride takes you to the sites of the resistance fighters of World War II. The forest massif , criss-crossed by winding roads, was predestined for numerous ambushes and acts of sabotage.
A little further, in Orchimont, is the Chapel du Flâchis , a tribute to the warriors of the Maquis.
