The inaccessible Lady Chapels are so small that they cannot be entered. They are usually exempt mini-chapels , whether or not they are placed on a pillar or masonry elevation. Sometimes the chapel is just a niche in a wall or closet, in which a statue of the Virgin Mary is placed.
