The Rochehaut memorial commemorates the fighters, resistance fighters and fallen soldiers of the First and Second World Wars . At the top is the statue of a soldier with a rifle and a flag, created by the Hanot (Bertrix) brothers .
The Maquis route passes through Vresse-sur-Semois. This 170 km ride takes you through the sites of the resistance fighters of World War II . The forest massif, criss-crossed by winding paths, was predestined for numerous ambushes and acts of sabotage.
A little further, in Orchimont, is the Chapel du Flâchis , a tribute to the warriors of the Maquis.
