Sculpture by French sculptor Vincent Beaufils.
Stone is everywhere in the Durbuy area. In 2005, as a tribute to this material , the idea of bringing together artists to work on the local stone was born. The presence of more than 50 monumental works , now distributed throughout the city, reminds us of the work of these artists.
From the war that arises, memory intervenes ... in the ways of his malice infiltrate the pains that shape man, between milestones and without limits lie the destructions, on the earth and its inhabitants between men and our hands .. .the memory lives together and the past extends it from the common point of history that establishes itself as roots without forgetting our humanity, our in memory of our vanished peoples, borders and the struggle for the freedom of our territories.
