The quarries of Feluy consist of the same formations as those of Ecaussinnes and therefore also produce “Petit Granit” (see fig. 12). They are smaller and were almost all owned by the count of the region. They were exploited in the 13th century and most were closed around 1930 (see fig. 13 & fig. 14 & fig. 15). They significantly contributed to the expansion of the village of Feluy. Many houses and castles are partly made of stones from these quarries.
