This house from 1939 belonged to the painter's unmarried son, Alfred Heymans. Alfred was an industry in hardware and steel. After his father's death, he bought his mansion in Schaerbeek and built a house here as a second residence. Before that, he rented a room permanently in 'De Keizer' or stayed with his sister, who lived in the painter's house in Wech. Alfred died here and was buried in the Wechin cemetery. Since about 1964, the house and garden have been owned by the municipality.
