The war memorial is located right in front of the Sint Hubert Church in Han-sur-Lesse.
This memorial commemorates the residents of Han-sur-Lesse who died or disappeared during the First and Second World Wars.
Han sur Lesse is the village surrounding one of the most important sights of the Belgian Ardennes, namely the caves of Han. Village life focuses almost entirely on this tourist attraction . The village has only a handful of houses. The rest is full of restaurants, cafes, hotels and of course a church.
