This war memorial is in front of the church , at the intersection of rue du Pays-du-Roi and rue du Tilleul.
On August 20, 1914 , the 1st RAC - Regiment d'Artllerie de Campagne - of the German Imperial Army shot dead 11 civilians and destroyed 21 houses in German atrocities early in the invasion.
The memorial commemorates the victims of both world wars.
