Imposing Castellera farmhouse with courtyard tower from the first half of the 17th century.
In the early Middle Ages, the Land of Granghan consisted of two courts under the authority of the Prince-Bishop of Liège. In the mid-15th century, the entire area came under the control of the Durbuy provost. In the 16th and 17th centuries, the Chesne family regularly took over the fiefdom.
In 1725 it was sold to the Cassals family, who renovated the Saint Georges Chapel in the mid-18th century . In 1828 the property was bought by the Baron de Favereau, whose influence made it possible to set up a Masonic lodge in the castle. An imposing castle-farmhouse with a medieval justice tower , built like the rest of the 16th-century castle and farmhouse, which received a grand neo-Gothic inauguration at the time of the Faverau family.
Behind this tower is the parish church . The castle was renovated at the end of the 19th century using a small limestone granite.
