Just outside Crombach you will see a bridge over the abandoned railway line Libramont-Gouvy-St. Vith. It was an approximately 80 km long railway line in the Belgian provinces of Liège and Luxembourg. After the outbreak of the First World War, the eastern extension from Gouvy to St. Vith was built, where a connection was made to the existing German railway network. Railway operations began on April 2, 1917. The closure of passenger services on the Gouvy-Maldingen-St. Vith/Maillust took place on 18 May 1952, the freight traffic Gouvy-Maldingen was maintained until 1963.
