Where football club FC Gerda once had its home base, since 2015 the Welzijnshuis has been located where most of the welfare services of the city and the former OCMW are bundled. It is an open, modern energy-efficient building, with a bright central patio as one of the eye-catchers. Around the grass of yesteryear, which has been transformed into a neighborhood and play park, there is also residential care center De Gerda and the local service center Den Aftrap. The construction of some emergency housing, homes for adults with disabilities and social housing has also started. Eye-catcher on this site is the statue Ageless LOVE of Princess Delphine (on your right). From this park you end up in the Kongostraat, turn left and then right, via a small piece of Hovenierstraat, again to the right into the Mgr. Stillemanstraat.
