The Kloosterheide Cemetery is an urban cemetery located at Kesselsesteenweg 97 in Lier. The Lier municipal council decided on May 12, 1917, to establish a new cemetery to replace the graveyard on Mechelsesteenweg. A location outside the city, near the former Kloosterheide Station, was chosen. This was followed by a land acquisition process from various owners, which was completed in 1918. The cemetery was consecrated on September 8, 1918.
