The Groeve Kreco, formerly also known as the Groeve Ciments Portland Liegéois or Groeve CPL, is a quarry near Hallembaye in the Belgian province of Liège, in the municipality of Oupeye and a small part in the area of the municipality of Wezet. The quarry is located to the northwest of Hallembaye and to the southwest of Loën. The quarry is mined in open-pit mining in the Haspengouw Plateau on the western slope of the Meuse valley and is adjacent to the municipal boundary with Bitsingen. To the northwest, the quarry is bordered by the Groeve CBR Lixhe, to the northeast by the railway tunnel of Line 24, to the east by the Meuse valley, and to the south by the Thier des Bruyères, Hauts de Froidmont, and an old overgrown quarry. In the eastern part of the quarry, there is the landfill C.E.T. de Hallembaye.
