The fine Kapucijnenplein can be found in the shadow of the Concertgebouw, just next to the Koning Albert I park.
You can relax on one of the benches by the water , settle in on one of the nice terraces or study the colorful street art of the four Brugse Zotten, referring to the nickname of the people of Bruges.
The Kapucijnenrei here changes into the Smedenrei. This was vaulted in 1838 with the construction of the railway line Ghent-Bruges-Ostend and for the construction of the first Bruges station on 't Zand . A few years ago, however, part of the Kapucijnenrei was reopened and made accessible with benches.
