Millennium Tower

Built on the plateau of the Croix-Scaille, the Tour du Millénaire, a spectacular watchtower 60 m high in the shape of an hourglass, marks the highest point in the province and the 5th in Belgium (503 m).
Inspired by history (four towers have stood on this summit at different times), this achievement allows you to discover for free a fantastic landscape of more than 30 km around with the help of an orientation table.
The stairs give access to three observation platforms that are located at 15, 30 and 45 meters respectively.
The campsite is open all year round, except during the hunting periods in this area, in bad weather or if the access road is reserved for cross-country skiing.
At the foot of the tower, the chalet of the Croix-Scaille tourist reception offers maps, tourist documentation, ice cream, refreshments and games for children in season.
The site of the Tour du Millénaire is also the starting or transit point for many marked hikes. Also, not far from there, don't miss the walk on decks in the nature reserve of the Fange de l'Abîme, where there is a flora associated above all with peat bogs and acidic soils. Elfe, a network of discoveries, will also delight children and the most enthusiastic adventurers!

Please note that access to the Croix-Scaille massif, and therefore to the Tour du Millénaire, may be prohibited in the case of hunting in the forest massif.

Open weekends, school holidays and public holidays from 10:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. (autumn-winter) or 7 p.m. (spring-summer).
