At the place called "Drinck," there is a large granite wayside cross also surrounded by linden trees. This wayside cross bears the inscription: "Blessed be our Lord Jesus Christ through the ages. Amen. / Dedicated in Fear of God to our eternal Father. With gratitude and Love. New Year's Eve, parish of Battincourt." This wayside cross was erected by Pastor Paul Ley. It is said that he wanted to erect a similar wayside cross at the entrance of each village.
