This walk starts at the church of Beerzel, where there is also parking. From the church we enter a small road called Bergstraatje. This has not stolen its name since we are going to Beerzelberg along here. After 300 meters we arrive at Beerzelberg and we can start climbing it. Once at the top, we come to the indication that this is the highest point in the province of Antwerp, namely 51.60 meters. We leave Beerzelberg and after walking a total of 2 km arrive at Hof ter Speelbergen. Here is the former home of Jozef Weyns, founder of the open-air museum of Bokrijk. The domain is located in a lane and we walk through it. At the end we arrive at the Pelgrimhof domain, located in a wooded park. The Speelbergen forest is also connected to this, an ideal walking park. Our route continues along quiet country roads with occasional open views. After 5 km we take a detour along the Oude Waran, a farm from 1771. After this we go back to the church of Beerzel. In total, the walk is 6.5 km.
