This wooden cross is located on the Rue de Belvaux just in front of "Ten Huize Planckaert".

Road crosses exist in wooden, cast iron and stone variants. They were placed by wealthy individuals , often farmers, or by neighborhood associations who collected money for this purpose. If a road cross is placed outside built-up areas, it is called a field cross.
