The chapel, dedicated to Our Lady of the Poor . There is a bench in front of the chapel.
The building dates from 1954 , as evidenced by the monogram on the arch around the altar: E CCE GRAT I A P L ENA D O MI N I AN CILL A (Here is the servant of God full of grace), so MDCCCLLLIIII = 1954 The chapel was built on a piece of land donated by a woman from Gruponto and built by the inhabitants of the village.
Originally on the back wall was a fresco depicting the apparition of the Virgin of Banneux painted by a Carmelite nun from Rochefort; this was covered with blue whitewash. Stained glass windows dedicated to the Virgin allow light to pass under the arch that houses the Virgin of Banneux.
Mass was held here every September until 1998. Today it is a place of prayer or rest for the inhabitants and for walkers.
